Markets

Whether you believe in Global Warming or not, we are going through a prolonged heat spell. We are at a point that it’s no longer Global Warming, but should be Global Warning. Water is running out all over the globe, reservoirs are drying up and snow packs are decreasing. I think that we are on the verge of a massive migration of people trying to get to both cooler places and places that have water.

Whats all that have to do with the markets? I feel that some of the ways people should consider to invest for their futures are to look at what’s happening and invest in those companies that will profit from the coming storm. I for one have invested in companies that either make desalination plants, or improve water efficiency, or companies that own water rights to aquifers. I personally don’t think they should be allowed to own the aquifers, but that doesn’t mean I can’t try to make a play off of them. I also believe that companies that manufacture air-conditioning are probably going to continue to see strong growth due to the warming planet, for that matter fan sales will probably increase as well.

Just something to consider.
